Rare French produced progressive and Jazz-Funk album sung in Arab and fetauring Algerian musicians. It was released on scarce label World Music (as Sofiane did). For lovers of Les Abranis and Frères Megri.
Record has superficial scuffs, plays with occasional surface noise. Sleeve’s laminate is peeling off on open side, cover has some scuffings on edges and bottom seam split but looks OK overall….~
Ultra rare arabic funk prog psych album recorded by Syphax. Madi Mahdi on Bass, Vocals, Samir Chabanne on Drums, Vocals, Makhlouf on Guitar, Vocals, Samy (4) on Guitar, Vocals, Mouloud Mezache. Great fusion of arabic grooves & funk jazz on the monster instrumental "Ghourak In'Aanna”, “Kahina” and “Thamghra” also some fantastic oriental dowmntempo psych rock on “1957…”, “Yidhem -Yidem”….~
